July: -7 The woe continued with Charin Cross pulling up lame when travelling well and Kingscote not exactly giving Red Force One everything he had at Haydock, disappointing when Dascombe’s horses were popping up all over the place at Haydock. At least there were plenty of winners in the body

After a worthy ew return with Sir Chauvelin we resorted to our regular second place finish with Kaeso and the equilibrium of the universe was restored to normality. 1:30 Uttoxeter Celestial Path did what we always knew it could last time out and has a seven pound penalty to contend
